KMZNN FC clinch 2nd Division District Football League title

Senapati, September 22 2024: W Ashe, project officer RD & PR DRDA Wing, Senapati, attended the closing ceremony as a special guest.

Ashe is also an executive member of the All Manipur Football Association (AMFA) and former president of the District Sports Association, Senapati.

The league, featuring 16 teams, culminated in a thrilling final on Saturday between Katumlung FC and KMZNN FC.

The match ended in a 1-1 draw after regular time, leading to a tense penalty shootout, where KMZNN FC claimed the championship title.

KMZNN FC's Chwansa Balang received the golden glove award, Fulloh FC's Rooney from earned the golden boot, and Katum-lungFC's Rangaba got the golden ball.

The champions and the runners-up have been promoted to the 1st Division league for the upcoming season.
