AMBBA bodybuilders set to compete at Asian Championship

Imphal, August 19 2025: Five athletes from the All Manipur Body Builders Association (AMBBA), who are part of the Indian squad, left Imphal on Tuesday for the 57th Asian Bodybuilding and Physique Sports Chgmpion-ship 2025 .

The championship will be held from August 18 to 25 in the Thai capital.

The team includes Ricky Hawaibam (Royal Gym, Ningomthong) , who will compete in the 75 kg junior category; Chongtham Bluncely (Ogust Gym, Checkon), and Mayanglambam Olenjit Singh (DJ Gym & Fitness, Kakching), both entered in the over 75 kg junior category; Thokchom Sanjeeta (World Gym, Yaiskul), competing in the 55 kg women's bodybuilding event; and Leishangthem Kumarjit Meitei (MPSC, Imphal), who will participate in the masters category for athletes aged 50 to 60 years.

Members of AMBBA, along with well-wishers, extended their prayers and support to the athletes, wishing them success in the international event.
