THAU crush SHADOW in MNCA Women's U-15 One Day Trophy

Imphal, February 14 2025: THAU claimed a commanding 106-run victory over SHADOW in Friday's league match of the 2nd MNCA Women's U-15 One Day Trophy 2024-25, held at THAU Ground, Thangmeiband.

Opting to bat first, THAU posted a total of 164 before being bowled out in 28.4 overs, with Creety Moirangthem anchoring the innings with a superb unbeaten 89.Robeni Usham added 15 runs to the tally.

For SHADOW, Moirangthem Bebenao and Chandam Priyadasni impressed with three wickets each, while Victoria Thokchom and Hanglem Malemnganbi claimed one apiece.

In response, SHADOW struggled to build momentum and were dismissed for just 58 in 25 overs.

Konjengbam Nonibala led THAU's bowling attack with an excellent four-wicket haul, while Thoithoibi Ahongshangbam and Marvi Maibam took two wickets each.

Creety Moirangthem also contributed with a wicket, securing a resounding victory for THAU.

Victoria Thokchom (17) and Moirangthem Nir-upama (14) were the only SHADOW batters to reach double figures in an otherwise disappointing run chase.
