Disciplinary action taken against ABA players & physio

Imphal, May 13 2025:
The All Manipur Football Association (AMFA) has issued disciplinary action against two ABA players and team's physiotherapist following incidents during their 2nd Premier League 2025-26 fixture against Angtha FC on May 9 at the Artificial Turf Ground, Lamlong Thongkhong.
According to the match commissioner's report, ABA player Askar Ali (Jersey No.21) damaged a chair in the technical area, while his teammate Md Izaz (Jersey No.11) used abusive language towards the referee.
Additionally, the team's physiotherapist, Abdul Hassan, also kicked a chair, and ABA supporters reportedly entered the field and threatened match officials using abusive language.
After reviewing the report, the AMFA committee fined both Askar Ali and Md Izaz Rs 5,000 each.
Abdul Hassan has been suspended for ABA's next two matches.
The club must settle the total fine of Rs 10,000 prior to their next fixture, according to AMFA.
AMFA also cautioned ABA that any repeat of such conduct will attract stricter disciplinary measures.
