Manipur vs Jharkhand in NSG U-19 Girls' Football title clash

Imphal, January 27 2026:
Hosts Manipur will face off against Jharkhand in the title clash of the 69th National School Games U-19 Girls' Football Championship being underway in Imphal.
Manipur reached the final with a 3-1 beating of West Bengal today in the second semi-final at Khuman Lampak Main Stadium.
A Luxmi found the lead in the 23rd minute before Naotombi hit a brace (30', 41') to earn Manipur a 3-0 lead.
The consolation goal for West Bengal came up late 4 minutes into the stoppage time (70+4') through Sarjida Khatun.
Earlier in the quarterfinal staged yesterday, Manipur outlasted Tripura 4-0 courtesy of goals coming from A Luxmi (46', 65'), L Naotombi (5') and L Linthoi (12') .
West Bengal meanwhile edged out Tamil Nadu 2-1 in a competitive quarterfinal match.
Earlier in the first semi-final match, Jharkhand defeated Haryana 2-0 riding on Kajal (58') and Rina (69') to enter the final.
Jharkhand made their way to the semi-finals with a 5-0 drubbing of Chhattisgarh yesterday as Haryana edged out Kerala 2-1 in another quarterfinal match.
In the third place match staged this afternoon, West Bengal rode on goals from Sarjida Khatun (20') and Kum Kim Saren (29') to seal a 2-0 win over Haryana.
The final match is scheduled tomorrow morning
from 7.30 am .
