Line-up complete for Kakching League semis

Imphal, July 22 2024: UCC and SRDC of Kakching along with KYWAC, Wabagai and PFC, Tokpaching advanced to the semi-finals of the 2nd Division Football League 2024 organised by District Sports Association (DSA), Kakching.

UCC topped Group A with 9 points and will take on Group B runners-up PFC (6 point) on July 24, while Group B winners KYWAC (7 points) will face off against Group A runners-up SRDC (7 points) on July 25 .

In the final league matches at DSA, Kakching ground on Monday, SRDC thrashed IYA, Kakching 7-0, while KFC, Kakching edged past WALY-DA, Wabagai 2-1 .

N Henba's strike in the 2nd minute opened the flood gates as SRDC scored at regular intervals through RK Man-galsena (12th), N Chinglen (20th & 35+2nd), N Dolton (38th) and M Devaraj (65th & 69th).In the day's other match, WALYDA's M Dayananda (64th) broke the stalemate late in the second half (64th) but the lead lasted only four minutes as KFC levelled through L Bidyananda (66th) before Y Wilson (74th) netted the winning goal.
