I-League 3 : Sunrise Club Orissa, Baghpat FC win as KLASA, TRAU share spoils in Manipur derby

Imphal, May 20 2026: Sunrise Club Orissa and Baghpat FC registered full points as KLASA and TRAU shared spoils in the Manipur derby in the I-League 3 playoff matches today.

Sunrise Club Orissa romped to a 7-1 win over Chhaygaon FC for their first win in three-playoff matches in the morning fixture at Khuman Lampak Main Stadium.

Muhammed Ashiq S (7', 85') and Faslurahman Methukayil (43', 68') played pivotal role in setting up the comprehensive win for the Odisha team as Suraj Kumar P (45'), Arshad P (68'), and Muhammed Thameem Tk (83') chipped in with a goal apiece.

The only goal for Chhaygaon FC was scored by Midul Doley in the 29th minute.

Meanwhile in the Manipur derby staged later in the day at the same venue, KLASA and TRAU shared a point apiece after playing out a 1-1 draw.

Moirangthem Diya drew first blood in the first minute of the second half to put TRAU ahead but Wahengbam Tejkumar Meitei netted the equaliser for KLASA in the 79th minute.

Despite efforts, neither team were able to find the difference.

Elsewhere at SAI Stadium, FC Raengdai went down 1-3 to Baghpat FC .

Rakshit opened the scoring for Baghpat FC in the 10th minute before Piyush Sikarwar scored back to back in the 40th and 72nd minutes to make it 3-0.Tingkaochun Gangmei scored the consolation goal for FC Raengdai in the 76th minute.

At the end of 3 rounds, Baghpat FC went top of the table on 7 points as Sunrise Club Orissa went second with 5 points.

Manipur's KLASA, FC Raengdai and TRAU are in the 3rd, 4th and 5th places as Chhaygaon FC are at the bottom without any points.
