Imphal, August 18 2025: Manipur stormed into the quarterfinals of the 15th Hockey India Junior Men's National Championship- Division A' with a 5-1 thrashing of Dadra & Nagar Haveli and Daman & Diu at the Surjit Singh Stadium, Jalandhar, Punjab on Monday.

The Manipur goal scorers in the last Pool C match were Yumkham Bidyananda Singh (35th & 45th minute), Ricky Tonjam (20th), Harish Singh Leitanthem (37th), and Adhikarimayum Suresh Sharma (39th), while Mithlesh Singh pulled back one for the opponents in the 36th minute.

Harish Leitanthem was adjudged Player of the Match.

Punjab, Madhya Pradesh, Uttar Pradesh, Jharkhand, Haryana, Odisha, and Karnataka are the other states that have qualified for the last eight stage.

Manipur play against Odisha on August 20 for a place in the semifinals.
