Imphal, October 15 2025: Panganba Body Building and Powerlifting Training Centre (PBBPTC) today felicitated Asian Benchpress Championship gold medallist Brahmacharimayum Nimi in a solemn function held today at Keishamthong Elangbam Leikai Community Hall.

Notably, Brahmacharimayum Nimi bagged a gold medal by recording the best lift of 62.5 kg in the 69 kg category event at the Asian championship hosted by Hong Kong from October 8 to 13 .

The felicitation programme was attended by Johnson Elangbam, advisor PBBPTC; retd Prof Elangbam Bijoykumar, former Dean, School of Social Sciences, MU and retd Forest Officer Elangbam Home as presidium members who also led in congratulating the athlete over her achievement.

Nimi trains at PBBPTC from 2021 .
