Martial Arts: Premachandra, Mangalsana, Achouba appointed state directors

Chabungbam Premachandra Singh, Longjam Mangalsana Meitei and Bachaspatimayum Achouba Sharma have been appointed as state directors by the International Sport Kick Boxing Association (ISKA), India.
Chabungbam Premachandra has been named state combat sport and martial arts director for Manipur.
A renowned figure in martial arts, Premachandra is the founder of Mixed Martial Arts (MMA) Manipur and a recipient of the Thailand International Martial Arts Award (2022) and the International Martial Arts Puruskar Award (2025).Since 1997, he has trained numerous medallists who have represented the state in international competitions.
Longjam Mangalsana, a national and international medallist, has been appointed state combat taekwon-do director for Manipur.
Meanwhile, Bachaspatimayum Achouba, a veteran martial arts master, will serve as state K-1 director for Manipur.
The appointments were confirmed in a press release issued by the Manipur Mixed Martial Arts Association.
