AMMLPO congratulates Conrad K Sangma on becoming UMAI chairman

Imphal, September 12 2026: The All Manipur Muaythai Lovers and Players Organisation (AMMLPO) has congratulated Meghalaya Chief Minister Conrad K Sangma on becoming the chairman of the United Muaythai Association of India (UMAI) .

Conrad K Sangma's association with UMAI is a significant development for the promotion and advancement of Muaythai in India, said AMMLPO in a congratulatory note.

His leadership, vision and commitment to the development of sports are expected to provide further impetus to the growth of Muaythai, it said.

AMMLPO expressed hope that Muaythai be included in the upcoming 39th National Games to be hosted by Meghalaya.
