UCFC, UDO, AFA pick up wins in 2nd Premier League Group B dashes

Imphal, July 05 2025: United Chandel FC, UDO, and Asufii FA triumphed in contrasting fashion in Saturday's Group B fixtures of the 2nd Pre mier League 2025-26 at SAI Ground, Takyel.

Nicky Tongsin Anal struck twice as United Chandel FC swept aside Sagolband United 3-0.The forward broke the deadlock in the 35th minute, finally piercing Sagolband's stubborn defence, before adding a second deep into first-half stoppage time (45+2') to give his side a commanding 2-0 lead at the interval.

After the break, Soram Sumit compounded Sagolband's misery with a well-taken finish in the 55th minute, sealing United Chandel's dominance.

Despite Sagolband's efforts to mount a comeback, United Chandel's resolute defence held firm, ensuring a convincing victory and all three points.

UDO recorded a convincing 3-1 victory over YSWA.

Seram Sekho handed YSWA a dream start with an early goal in the 7th minute.

However, UDO quickly responded as Chingtham Ronaldo levelled the score in the 11th minute.

Thongam Priyaball then put UDO ahead with a well-taken strike in the 33rd minute, giving them the lead going into half-time.

After the break, UDO extended their advantage in the 76th minute when Salam Dhiren Meitei coolly converted a penalty, sealing the three points for his side.

Meanwhile, Asufii FA registered a narrow 2-1 win over KIYC .

Mathanmi Ningshen gave Asufii FA a flying start, opening the scoring just three minutes into the match.

After a tightly contested first half, KIYC equalised in the 74th minute through Mynam Arif Husain.

However, Samson restored Asuhi's lead just six minutes later, netting the decisive goal in the 80th minute to seal the win for his side.
