YPO, Heirok in Sub-Jr Volleyball Tourney semis

Imphal, May 05 2025: YPO and Heirok teams have progressed into the semi-finals of the ongoing 6th Thoubal District Inter Village Sub-Junior Men's Volleyball Tournament at Shiphai Leikai, Yairipok.

YPO defeated YDC by 3-1 sets in the first quarterfinal match to make it to the semifinal today.

YPO started with an opening set loss but resurged in the following sets to seal the game 20-25, 25-20, 25-17, 25-19.Later in the second match, Heirok beat AAVA-A by 3-1 sets to advance into the semifinals.

Heirok started dominantly but faltered in the third set before staging a comeback and walked out 25-19, 25-18, 24-26, 25-16 winners.

Icham Khunou will play hosts SLGC-A in the third quarterfinal match tomorrow before LEWA take on KYSU in the final quarterfinal match.
