232 (M) Bn CRPF to host women's Kabaddi

Imphal, September 04 2026: The 232 (M) Bn CRPF is set to organise a women's Kabaddi competition under Khelo India's Sports for Peace and Development Across Nation (SPANDAN) initiative at SAI NERC Takyel from September 7 to 8 .

The event aims to encourage young people and members of the local community to actively participate in sports and physical activities while spreading the message of peace, unity, discipline, fitness, sportsmanship and social harmony.

The event carries a cash prize of Rs 10,000 for the winners, Rs 6,000 for the runners up and Rs 4,000 for the third place team, said a press release issued by the battalion.
