UDO pull off 2-1 comeback win over KIYC in 2nd Premier League

Imphal, May 04 2025: UDO staged a spirited second-half fightback to clinch a 2-1 victory against KIYC in a thrilling Group B encounter of the 2nd Premier League 2025-26 .

The match, held at the Artificial Turf Ground in Lamlong Thongkhong on Sunday, saw UDO overturn an early deficit to claim all three points.

KIYC took the lead in the 16th minute through Mynam Arif Husain, who capitalised on a defensive lapse to slot home.

The first half saw KIYC maintain their narrow advantage, frustrating UDO's attempts to level the score.

However, UDO emerged after the break with renewed intensity, and their persistence was rewarded in the 60th minute when Thongam Priyaball Singh fired in the equaliser.

The momentum shifted decisively in UDO's favour, and Chingtham Ronaldo completed the turnaround in the 75th minute with a well-taken strike, sealing a hard-fought win for his side.
