AMFA finalises squad for Junior Boys' National Football Championship

Imphal, July 03 2025: The All Manipur Football Association (AMFA) has announced the final list of players selected to represent Manipur in the upcoming Junior Boys' National Football Championship for the Dr BC Roy Trophy Tier 1 .

The tournament is scheduled to be held in Amritsar, Punjab, commencing on July 20, 2025.A total of 20 players have been named in the squad, drawn from various district football associations and clubs across the state.

The team features a mix of promising talent across all positions.

Goalkeeping duties will be shared by Yengkhom Thomas Singh (IYFC) and Kamei Jenthuiipou Kabui (TYDA) .

The defensive line includes Lourenbam Naocha Singh (IWD-FA), Hamid Ahmed (IYFC), Alex Oinam (RFCC), Oinam Belton Singh (TYDA), Tonjam Stalone Meitei (DSA BPR), Nnguamlung T Panmei (DFA Noney), and Mayanglambam Albert Singh (IMA FA) .

In midfield, the squad boasts the inclusion of Mutum Mangal Meitei (IMA FA), Korimayum Soyet (IYFC), Meisnam Jojo Meitei (PANDAM FF), Yoyo Sagolsem (CFA), Yumnam Sonamani (IMA FA), Waikhom Rohit Singh (IFEP), Khomdram Denish Singh (NESU FA), and Khutleibam Sultan (NESU FA) .

Leading the attack are forwards Amom Krish Singh (MUFA), Khwairakpam Bishesana Singh (DSA BPR), and Ngayungmi Kashung (DFA Kamjong), who are expected to provide the firepower up front.
