21st Governor's Cup State Level Fencing C'ship to kickstart on Aug 28

Imphal, August 25 2025: The 21st Governor's Cup State Level Fencing Championship has been rescheduled and will kickstart on August 28 at SAI Fencing Hall, NERC, Takyelpat, Imphal.

The championship was originally scheduled to begin on August 27 but has been changed in view of the Hunger Marchers' Day observance, said Manipur Fencing Association in a statement issued yesterday.

Governor Ajay Kumar Bhalla; Fencing Association of India's secretary general, Rajeev Mehta and Manipur Olympic Association president Elangbam Sunil will grace the opening function of the championship, it said.
