AFC C Diploma Coaching Course concludes in Chandel

Imphal, July 24 2025: The week-long AFC C Diploma Coaching Course, organised by the District Sports Association (DSA) Chandel under the aegis of the All India Football Federation (AIFF) and the All Manipur Football Association (AMFA), concluded successfully on Thursday.

This marks the first time such a prestigious coaching programme has been held in the hill district of Manipur.

20 aspiring coaches from across the state, including one from Shillong, Meghalaya, participated in the course.

Gyan Moyon, an AFC A licence coach, was deputed by the AIFF as the coach educator.

The closing ceremony was attended by Rev Sr Manshi Anal, education secretary of ANBA.

DSA Chandel president Dr TS Chamna Anal, MPS, thanked AIFF and AMFA for the opportunity, noting the course's significance in advancing football development in the district.

Several individuals were recognised for their contributions to football.

Gyan Moyon was honoured for being the first coach from Chandel appointed as a coach educator by the AIFF since 2019.Th Joyshing Monsang was felicitated for clearing the National Referee Fitness Test held on July 5, 2025 at LNIPE, Gwalior.

RD Hringnidam Anal and SR Ningnihring Anal were also acknowledged for passing the Women's Referee Fitness Test held at the same venue on July 7, 2025.Mementoes and gifts were presented to the achievers and all participating coaches by the DSA executives.

Dr Chamna Anal congratulated the successful coaches and referees and urged them to continue promoting football in Chandel and beyond.
