National Ranking Tennis Imphal : Annurag Reddy vs Aditya Balsekar in singles title clash

Imphal, September 18 2025: Andhra Pradesh's Annurag Reddy will face off against Aditya Balsekar of Maharashtra for the men's singles title in the AITA Men's 1 Lakh National Ranking Tennis Tournament Imphal hosted by Manipur Tennis Association at Officers' Club Tennis Complex, Lamphelpat.

Annurag Reddy booked his place in the final with a 4-6, 6-3, 7-6 win in a keenly contested semi-final match with WR O Brien of West Bengal today in the first session.

In another court, Aditya Balsekar outlasted T Mayand of West Bengal 6-2, 6-3 to seal his place in the final.

In the quarterfinal matches staged yesterday, Aditya outlasted Arjun Oza of Gujarat 6-3, 6-0 as O Brien eased 6-1, 6-3 past Parth D of Maharashtra; Mayand of West Bengal thumped Siddharth G of Tamil Nadu 6-3, 6-3; and Annurag Reddy overwhelmed Dhruv G of Haryana 6-0, 6-0 .

Tewary-Siddharth vs Brien-Aditya in doubles final

The final line up of the men's doubles competition was also completed today with the pair of M Tewary and Siddarth SS arid the pair of O Brien and Aditya securing semi-final victories.

M Tewary and Siddarth knocked out Ashok D and S Rana 6-2, 7-5 in the first semi-final match before O Brien and Aditya saw out Sabarinath and O Richi 6-2, 6-3 in the second semi-final match.

Earlier in the quarterfinals staged yesterday, O Brien and Aditya registered a 6-3, 6-0 win over T Ramnuj and P Arjun while M Tewary-Sidhharth pair outlasted Parth D and Dev Sinha 6-0, 6-4.The final matches are scheduled tomorrow morning.
