Imphal, June 16 2025: Wangkhem FC and EPYC claimed victories in markedly different styles on the fourth day of the L Sana @ Ingam Memorial Football Trophy, organised by the Development Youth's Association, Elangkhanpokpi.

Wangkhem FC dominated in a commanding 4-0 win over MPA (Thounaojam), with Krishnananda and Roshan each scoring twice.

Krishnananda opened the scoring with a first-half brace, netting in the 31st and 46th minutes, before Roshan sealed the victory with two quickhre goals in the 46th and 50th minutes.

Earlier in the day, EPYC edged past Young Boys in a tense penalty shootout after a 2-2 draw in regulation time.

N Rohijit gave EPYC an early lead in the 6th minute, but Shrinivas equalised for Young Boys in the 16th minute.

W Sadananda restored EPYC's advantage in the 20th minute, only for Jupiter to level again for Young Boys just two minutes later.

With no further goals, the match went to penalties, where EPYC held their nerve to triumph 5-4 .
