Ramananda, St Paul's, Mt Zion schools script wins in State Level Subroto Cup

Imphal, July 15 2025: Imphal East's Ramananda High School, Chan-del's St Paul's High School, Senapati's Mt Zion School registered wins in Tuesday's fixtures of the 64th edition of the State Level Subroto Cup International Football Tournament 2025 at Chajing Kangjeibung.

Ramananda High School (Imphal East) edged out Bishnupur's Wangoo High School with a 2-1 victory in an intense Group A fixture.

E Lanchenba opened the scoring in the 16th minute, followed by H Manithoiba netting the second in the 25th minute for Imphal East.

Bishnupur responded through Kh Atish in the 49th minute, but it was not enough.

Meanwhile, St Paul's High School (Chandel) secured a win and a draw on the day.

In their first match, they drew 1-1 with Mt Zion School, thanks to Abel Chothe's 41st-minute equaliser after Abelsodan had given Senapati the lead in the 20th minute.

In their second outing, Chandel secured a 1-0 win over Bishnupur Wangoo High School, with Abel Chothe once again scoring the decisive goal in the 60th minute.

Mt Zion School (Senapati) displayed dominance in their afternoon fixture, crushing Kaching's Padma Ratna English School 6-0 .

D Rahnavio starred with a hat-trick (7', 16', 53'), while Sohan Gurung (19') and Sushil Tiwari (29', 45') also found the net in a one-sided contest.
