47th State Senior Handball Tournament kicks off

Imphal, May 15 2025: The 47th Men & Women State Level Senior Handball Tournament 2025 got underway on Thursday at KKLYDO Ground, Kongpal Kongkham Leikai, Imphal East.

The opening clash saw MPSC (men) dominate SSC with a decisive 25-18 victory.

Th Hemanta and N Gobin spearheaded win, netting seven goals each, while H Ingocha chipped in with four goals.

Further support came from Ksh Mocha and Y Becker Roy, who scored three goals apiece, with L Jayenta adding one to the tally.

The tournament's first day was packed with thrilling encounters, as YLK (women), MPSC (women), KVWA (men), SSC (men), ESU (men), and YWO (men) all secured victories in their respective matches.
