CDC rally past ESU to win State Senior Basketball Tournament

Imphal, February 14 2025: CDC emerged victorious over ESU with a hard-fought 88-82 win in the final of the 24th State Senior Basketball Tournament 2024 on Friday at Brahmapur Nahabam Basketball Court.

CDC showcased resilience and determination, mounting an impressive comeback after trailing in the early stages of the game.

ESU gained an initial advantage, edging out CDC 19-17 in the first quarter and maintaining their lead with a narrow 24-23 score in the second quarter.

However, CDC turned the tide in the second half with a commanding performance, outscoring ESU 20-16 in the third quarter.

Their momentum continued into the decisive fourth quarter, where they secured a 28-23 advantage, sealing the victory and claiming the championship title.
