Imphal, July 13 2025: School teams from Senapati, Ukhrul, Imphal East, Chandel, Bishnupur, Thoubal and Tengnoupal emerged victorious in Sunday's fixtures of the 64th Edition of the State Level Subroto Cup Football Tournament 2025, organised by the Youth Affairs & Sports Department, Manipur.

In Match No 5 held at Mini Stadium, Ningombam, Senapati's Saldin Christian English School clinched a 3-1 victory over Needy Home Academy (Kangpokpi).

After a 1-1 draw in regulation time, Senapati found the net twice in extra time through Pungdi Alvis (two goals) and Ch Shital Singh, while Tangtanga scored the sole goal for Kangpokpi.

Ukhrul's Little Angel English School produced an attacking masterclass to defeat Maha Union, Chandel 6-2 in Match No 6.Worthem Shimrah led the charge with a hat-trick, while teammates Zinglenngam and Kasaklan Rakham added to the tally.

Ukhrul's other goal came via an own goal.

Surchan Chothe and Richard Chothe scored a goal each for Chandel.

Match No 8 saw Daina English School (Imphal East) steamroll past Maha Union, Chandel with a 6-1 scoreline.

Guleiba was in scintillating form, netting five goals (4', 10', 32', 36', 50'), supported by a goal from Khutamba.

Omega scored the lone goal for Maha Union.

St Peter's Higher Secondary School (Chandel) proved too strong for Tekcham High School (Thoubal), winning 5-0 .

c and Sankhil each scored a brace, while SR Alphani added one.

TG English School (Bishnupur) emerged victorious against Khongjom Standard English School (Thoubal) with a 3-1 win.

Goals from Yohen-ba, Dhanaraj, and Nungshiba ensured Bishnupur's triumph, while M Adison scored for Thoubal.

In Match No 8, Thoubal's AG Memorial Academy romped to a 5-0 win over Ukhrul's Hundung Kazip-phung High School.

Goals, backed by an own goal, from Thoungamba (two), Yohenba, Thongamba, and Compedition sealed the win.

In Match No 7, Tengnoupal's St Joseph Hr Sec School claimed a 2 0 win against Noney's Khangsillung Hr Sec School, with goals from H Bonison and K Thomas.

In the girls' category, Don Bosco School, Imphal East defeated Khangsillung High School (Noney) 2-0.Zenia and Martina were the scorers, with Zenia also drawing a foul from Noney's L Lucy Devi, who was cautioned for denying a goal-scoring opportunity.

Porompat Sabal Leikai (Imphal East) beat Kangsillung Hr Sec School (Noney) by an identical 2-0 margin, with strikes from Zenia and Marina.
