2nd DGAR Men's Polo C'ship : Black Watch PC, Paradise PC and Loyalakpa PC cruise into last-16 round

Imphal, December 09 2025: Black Watch PC, Paradise PC and Loyalakpa PC progressed into the last-16 stage of the men's competition in the ongoing 2nd DGAR Polo Championships at Mapal Kangjeibung today.

In the first match of the day, Black Watch PC prevailed 19-3 over Mayang Imphal Polo Club to book their pre-quarterfinal ticket.

In the second match, Paradise PC outlasted K&MM Riding School Team-B by 5-2 goals riding on doubles from M Daniel and A Netrajit.

K&MM Riding School Team-B and Paradise PC were locked at 1-1 in the first chukker with T Bishorjit scoring the equaliser in the final minute after A Netrajit put the winners ahead in the 3rd minute.

Netrajit scored his second in the second chukker to earn his team a 2-1 lead at halfway mark before Bishorjit scored his second for the losing side in the third chukker that also saw M Daniel slotting home twice and made it 4-2 .

O Ningthemjao then hit the final goal in the last chukker to help Paradise PC set up a pre-quarterfinal date with Black Watch PC .

Later in the third match, A Abung and O Chinglensana scored three goals apiece to fire Loyalakpa PC 8-1 past Lainingthou Khoriphaba Polo Club, Nambol.

Loyalakpa PC enjoyed a 2-1 first chukker lead as A Abung and L Abinash added a goal apiece before K Roshan scored the only goal for the losing team in the final minute of the chukker.

Abung, Devachandra and Chinglensana then took their turns in the second chukker to make it 5-1 before Abung and Chinglensana added a goal apiece in the third chukker to further extend the lead to 7-1 .

O Chinglensana then completed his treble in the final chukker and set up the 8-1 win for Loyalakpa PC .
