Imphal, October 09 2025: Two State powerlifters, Brahmacharimayum Nimi and Thangjam Leima have left India for Hong Kong for the Asian Bench Press Championship that began yesterday.

Brahmacharimayum Nimi will be representing India in the junior women's 69 kg category classic bench press competition while Thangjam Leima will be competing in the women's open 76 kg category classic bench press event.

The championship organised by Asian Powerlifting Federation will conclude on October 12 .
