Imphal, June 06 2025: A felicitation programme for bronze medal winning sculler Swevia Heisnam was held at the Karang residence of political activist Dr Haobijam Gitajen on Friday with participation of members of Karang-based KIMBBA, KIDO, ward members, Apunba Meira Paibi and local leaders.

Swevia Heisnam, daughter of H Inaobi of Karang Maning Leikai , won the bronze medal in singles scull competition of the 26th Sub Junior National Rowing Championship 2025 organised by Telangana Water Sports Academy at Hussain Sagar Lake, Hyderabad, Telangana from May 27 to 31 .
