NYVA beat KSA by 3-1 sets in Group D opener

Imphal, August 31 2025: Hosts NYVA, Naorem defeated KS A, Irengbam by 3-1 sets in the Group D opening match of the ongoing 45th Junior Boys State Level Volleyball C'ship.

NYVA conceded the first set before rallying back in the following sets to see out the game 22-25, 25-17, 28-26, 25-16 .

In another Group D match staged later in the day, KSA beat 11 Star, Wangoo in straight sets (25-14, 25-7, 25-22) .

In a Group A match of the day, UNT, Top Siphai defeated EAGLE, Ukhrul 25-20,26-24, 25-19 .

YPC, Ishok in the meantime pulled off a 25-21, 25-23, 21-25, 25-21 win over PASI, Kamjong in a Group B match before HVA, Heigrujam beat SLC, Maibam 25-12, 25-7, 25-14 in a Group C match.
