Juvenile Club fight back to hold NESU to 3-3 draw in CC Meet

Imphal, May 29 2026: Juvenile Club staged a remarkable second-half comeback to hold NESU to an entertaining 3-3 draw in a Group C clash of the ongoing 65th CC Meet today at Mapal Kangjeibung.

Trailing 1-3 at the break, Juvenile Club entered the second half with a never-say-die attitude to salvage a well-deserved point.

NESU went ahead within six minutes thanks to Sapam Ton.

Juvenile Club's Laishram Rajboy temporarily canceled out the early lead by scoring in the 23rd minute, but Ton struck again just two minutes later, converting a penalty to restore NESU's advantage.

Hanjabam Kelvin then extended NESU's lead to 3-1, scoring four minutes into first-half stoppage time.

Refusing to back down, Juvenile Club launched a concerted effort after the interval.

Rajboy found the target yet again in the 76th minute to reduce the deficit to 2-3, before his teammate Thiyam Sanathoi struck five minutes into stoppage time to dramatically snatch the draw.
