4th Sr Women's One Day Trophy : Hijam Sijapriya bowls PTCC to 52-run victory

Imphal, February 22 2025: Hijam Sijapriya picked 6-wickets to inspire PTCC, Patsoi Part III a commanding 52-run victory over AKSDO, Khangabok in the second match of the ongoing 4th Senior Women's One Day Trophy at THAU ground, Thangmeiband.

Put in to bat first, PTCC gathered a lowly total of 179/6 in the allotted 35 overs on the back of Irom Shrili's 109-ball 70 and Niruka's 39-ball 37 and bowled out AKSDO for 127 runs in 30 overs courtesy of Hijam Sijapriya who picked 6 wickets to break the backbone of the AKSDO line up.

4th Sr Women's One Day Trophy

For AKSDO, Khundrakpam Rabina (2/28), Laishram Linthoi (1/14), Khundrakpam Lucyrani (1/31) and Moirangthem Lucky (1/27) were among the wickets before they had a forgettable chase.

Moirangthem Daina 28 and Ningthoujam Langlen 37 were the only double digit run getters for AKSDO in the chase that also saw Kh Angoubi and Takhelmayum Sanaloo claiming a wicket apiece for PTCC.

Sijapriya was declared player of the match.
