Imphal, May 20 2025: The Manipur Horse Riding and Polo Association, Manipur Equestrian Association and Manipur Pony Society yesterday convened a joint meeting to condole the demise of Haobam Mohon on May 18 .

During the meeting that was chaired by Laishram Bedamani and Shijagurumayum Umananda, the members and functionaries of the three associations recalled the contributions of H Mohon towards the promotion and preservation of equestrian sports in the State, said Manipur Horse Riding and Polo Association in a condolence note.

They also observed two-minute silence as a mark of respect to the departed soul while also praying for his soul to rest in peace, it said.

The associations also shared grief with the bereaved family members, it added.
