Imphal, February 20 2025: CYCLONE Thangmeiband beat TRAU Kwakeithel by 2 wickets in today's league match of the 9th MNCA W Prahlada & W Ramananda Elite Tournament 2024-25 at Lairenjam Public Ground, Imphal.

TRAU Kwakeithel won the toss and opted to bat first and amassed a total of 131 for 10 wickets in 38.1 overs.

CYCLONE completed the chase scoring 132 for 8 wickets in 33.4 overs.

In TRAU's run for 131, Sanjembam Somokanta Khuman (19/38), Mutum Swabhiman (19/39), Pukhrambam Prafullomani Singh (14/10), Priyojit Kangabam (13/34), Preethson Arubam (11/14), Bishworjit Nongmaithem (10/7), Puinachandra Sharma Anoubam (7/20), Ishorchandra L (6/39), Behul Moibungkhongbam (6/18), Thangjam Rishi Singh (2/8) made contributions.

CYCLONE's Nongthombam Denin, Suraj Nong and Loktongbam Santosh Meitei took 2 TRAU wickets each.

Md Aqeel and Kishan Laishram took one wicket each.

Loktongbam Santosh Meitei (24/29) and Kishan Laishram (23/36) displayed some fine battings in CYCLONE's chase for the target.

Maisnam Raju Singh (19/13), Md Aqeel (12/13), Muhammed Ali Bashid (10/55), Nongthombam Denin (7/21), Thomas Moirangthem (5/14), Ningthoujam Thoiba Singh (4/3), Suraj Nong (1/16) made their share of contributions in CYCLONE's winning knock of 132 in 33.4 overs.
