YDO fencers shine at 3rd Imphal East Dist Level Fencing C'ship

Imphal, July 19 2025: YDO Club's fencers consistently dominated the podium across multiple categories on Day 2 and 3 of the 3rd Imphal East District Level Fencing Championship 2025.On Day 2 (July 18), K Prithibiraj secured gold in the junior boys foil event, while teammate Kh Rajiv added a bronze in the same category.

In the junior girls foil, T Mangaleibi clinched gold, with M Geetarani taking bronze.

Meanwhile, L Chinglembi impressed in the junior girls epee by winning gold, contributing further to the club's medal tally.

In junior girls sabre, Ambika emerged as the gold medallist, and Babydaina bagged a bronze.

YDO Club's success continued on Day 3 (July 19), particularly in the cadet girls foil event, where T Mangaleibi once again demonstrated her prowess by claiming the gold medal.

M Geetarani followed with a bronze.

In total, Mangaleibi earned two gold medals over the course of the championship, establishing herself as one of the standout performers.

Despite strong competition from clubs such as KHFA, OLA, and KHSC, YDO Club remained dominant in multiple events.
