Veteran Cricket: Pratap's unbeaten 92 in vain as TCMDC fight their way to 3-wicket win

Imphal, December 18 2024: M Pratap scored an unbeaten 92 for LCCC but his effort went in vain as TCMDC batters fought their way to a 3 - wicket win in a Group C match of the ongoing 21st Manipur Veteran Cricket Tournament at Langthabal Public Ground.

LCC opted to bat first after winning the toss and added 159/7 in the allotted 30 overs thanks to M Pratap's 91-ball 92 .

For TCMDC, Damen Karam (2/31), L Krishna (2/34) and N Sanjit (2/39) shared 6 wickets before Kh Bijesh 24 and Somorjit Karam 14 produced an unbeaten partnership for the 8th wicket to take TCMDC to the target.

Th Tarun 24, Damen Karam 22, S Rakesh 15 and L Krishna 15 also managed double digit scores for TCMDC in their second straight victory.

For LCCC, S Ashok (2/33), K Saphaba (2/16), K Deepak (1/28) and W Srinivas (1/26) were among the wickets.

Damen Karam was eventually adjudged player of the match.
