Two state Judokas clinch silver at Taipei Cadet Judo Championship 2025

Imphal, July 15 2025: Two young judokas from Manipur, Khuyenthem Monika and Bipiliya Yumnam, brought pride to the state and the nation by winning silver medals on Tuesday at the Taipei Cadet Judo Championship 2025 in Chinese Taipei.

Representing India in the prestigious event, both athletes hail from Anilongbi, Mayang Imphal in Imphal West district.

Khuyenthem Monika competed in the -63kg category while Bipiliya Yumnam participated in the -70kg category.

The young athletes were coached by A Surjit Meitei.

The achievement of the two cadets highlights the growing strength of judo in the state and underscores the dedication of both athletes and their coach.
