MCA to organise 7th Ramnarayan Shastri Memorial Chess Tournament

Imphal, May 13 2025: The Manipur Chess Association is set to organise the 7th Ramnarayan Shastri Memorial State Level Open Chess Tournament from May 24 to 27, 2025 at Ram Lal Paul Higher Secondary School, Imphal.

Sponsored by the Ramnarayan Shastri Memorial Trust, the tournament offers a total prize pool of Rs 1,10,000, with the first prize set at Rs 25,000 .

In addition to open prizes, special age-group categories will be available for both boys and girls.

The registration fee is Rs 300, which also covers player registration for the 2025-2026 season with the association.
