YWC-Th demolish ICSA 9-0, MUFA hold KRYPHSA to 1-1 draw

Imphal, May 10 2026: Youth Welfare Club, Thambalkhong (YWC-Th) opened their 16th AMFA Senior Women's Football League campaign (Group B) on a blistering note as they trounced ICSA, Irengbam 9-0 this afternoon at Artificial Turf Ground, Lamlong Thongkhong.

Heikham Zenia Devi (34', 67') and super sub Huiyam Victoria Chanu (81', 88') led the scoring in the team's big win as the duo netted two goals apiece.

The other goals, meanwhile, came from Sagolshem Ronika Devi (20'), Thounaojam Martina (29'), Rosy Thanga (44'), Leikangbam Russia (70'), and Laitonjam Linthoi (73') .

In another Group B match staged later in the day at the same venue, KRYPHSA, Naoremthong and Manipur United FA (MUFA) played out a barren first half before the two sides played out a 1-1 draw.

KRYPHSA drew first blood in the 60th minute through Miraluxmi before MUFA fought back and drew level on the back of Irom Deviya Chanu in the 82nd minute.
