MNCA announces Ranji Trophy squad for first three matches

Imphal, September 09 2025: The Manipur Cricket Association (MNCA) has announced its 15-member squad for the first three matches of the upcoming Ranji Trophy 2025-26, featuring Thokchom Kishan, a seasoned cricketer and Sub Editor at The Sangai Express.

The players who made it to the squad for the domestic first class tournament are Amom Guniram Singh, Konthoujam Bishworjit Singh, Kangabam Priyojit Singh, L Kishan Singha, Lamabam Ajay Singh, Longjam Ronald Meitei, Mohammed Mustaque, Muhammed Al Bashid, Naesh Hussain, Ngariyanbam Johnson Singh, Pheiroijam Jotin Singh, Rajkumar Rex Singh, Thokchom Kishan Singh, Ulenyai Khwairakpam, and Yumnam Kamajit Singh.

Thokchom Kishan, bom January 1, 1990, is a right-handed bowler who has been a regular face in Manipur's cricket team since his first-class debut in 2018 .

He has also represented Manipur in other domestic tournaments including Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy and Vijay Hazare Trophy.

He is the son of Thokchom Ibobi and Thokchom Memma of Langthabal Mantrikhong Makha Leikai.

He plays for RULE Cricket Team, Meitram in the State level tournaments.
