Stage set for Sub-Junior Boys' Volleyball quarterfinals

Imphal, May 04 2025: The quarterfinal line up for the 6th Thoubal District Inter Village Sub-Junior Men's Volleyball Tournament has been completed today with KSU, YPO and LEWA registering final league stage victories today.

YPO will play YDC in the first quarterfinal match of the tournament organised by the Shiphai Leikai Guidance Club, Yairipok tomorrow from 2 pm onwards before AAVA-A take on Heirok in the second quarterfinal match.

Icham Khunou in the meantime will play hosts SLGC-A in the third quarterfinal on May 6 from 2 pm onwards before LEWA take on KYSU in the last quarter final match.

KYSU thumped SLGC-B 25-14, 25-20, 25-19 to finish Group C runners up today while YPO outlasted Heirok 26-24, 27-25, 27-25 in a keenly contested Group A winners' deciding match.

In the crucial Group D match that decided the winners, LEWA overcame SLGC-A 25-16, 25-18, 26-24 to finish group winners.
