101 State referees clear Annual Fitness Test

Imphal, September 02 2026: As many as 101 out of the 103 State football referees have passed the Annual Fitness Test conducted on August 8 at SAI Takyel.

The passed referees will now be active for the season 2026-27, said the All Manipur Football Association (AMFA) in a memorandum.

The passed referees include Ranjita Devi Tekcham who is a Level 1 or Category 1 referee; Level 2 referees Devala Devi Elangbam, RD Hringnidam and Roshini Chanu Maibam and a Level 3 referee Joyshing Monsang Thumli.

Category or Level 1, 2, and 3 referees in Indian football represent the top tiers of the All India Football Federation (AIFF) match official hierarchy, responsible for officiating major domestic competitions like the Indian Super League (ISL) and I-League.

The result of two referees were withheld.
