Imphal, January 02 2026: A 14-member State team have left Imphal today for the 75th Senior National Basketball Championship beginning on January 4 at Chennai, Tamil Nadu.

Naorem Laija, Jannat Shahaney, Wungramrin LA, Khoirom Omega, Yumnam Manorama, Surmita Singh, Loktongbam Tutu Chanu, Hidangmayum Samjota, Loktongbam Tulika, Puyam Devina, and Aribam Lakshmi Sharma are the players who left Imphal for Chennai for the championships today.

The team are led by head coach Brahmacharimayum Surupkumar Sharma, coach Chungkham Tarunkumar and manager Surmita Singh.
