Imphal, December 31 2025: Delicia Lourembam produced standout performances to return home with a gold and a silver medal from the TAEKOFEST 2025 (11th Open National Taekwondo Championship) that was held from December 28 to 30 in Kolkata.

The 11 year old Delicia fetched the gold medal in the Poomsae competition and settled for a silver medal in the Kyorugi event.

Delicia who is a daughter of Lourembam Bijesh and Kshetrimayum Sajina Devi of Keishamthong Longjam Leirak practices under the guidance of coach Ningombam Bishorjit of Brave Taekwondo Academy, Pishum.

She reads in Class VI at UNACCO School, Khongman.
