4th MNCA Men's U19 One Day Trophy : CYCLONE, CRAU, RULE, and Al-Ameen register first wins

Imphal, May 29 2026: CYCLONE, Thangmeiband; CRAU, Khamnam Bazar; RULE, Meitram and Al-Ameen, Lilong registered their first league stage wins in the 4th MNCA Men's U19 One Day Trophy today.

At Khangabok Cherapur Public Ground, CYCLONE bundled out SCCC, Singjamei Thongam Leikai for 103 runs within 19.5 overs and cruised to the winning 104/1 within 11 overs to post their first Group A win in two matches.

Konthoujam Tomthinganba played a lone hand for SCCC who opted to bat first and made the highest 52 off 61 balls before they fell flat in the face of concerted bowling effort from Maibam Napolian (3/15), Mairembam Malemnganba (3/13) and Moirangthem Thomsan (2/33) .

In reply, N Sidarth (39 off 29 balls; 7 fours and 1 six) and Thomsan 51 not out off 34 balls (6 fours and 2 sixes) gave CYCLONE a solid start by forging 69 runs together for the first wicket before Thomsan and L Binson (3 not out off 5) sealed the victory in the final delivery of the 11th over.

Thomsan who shone with both the bat and the ball was adjudged player of the match.

Elsewhere at Moijing Public Ground, CRAU prevailed over SU, Sagolband by 151 runs for their first Group B win.

The day also saw RULE seal a 114-run victory over THAU, Thangmeiband in a Group C match at Khudeiband Lampak as Al-Ameen opened their Group D account with a 93-run thrashing of LCC, Lamsang at Model Hr Sec and Oriental College ground.
