PTRC, THAU victorious in 3rd MNCA Women's T-20 Trophy

PTRC, Patsoi Part IV and THAU, Thangmeiband emerged victorious in today's matches of the 3rd MNCA Women's T-20 Trophy being organised by the Manipur Cricket Association.
At THAU ground, PTRC crushed TCMDC by 94 runs to seal their first win after their first tie was abandoned due to rain.
PTRC opted to bat first and gathered a commanding total of 194/6 courtesy of a brisk 28-ball 46 from RK Linthoi, noteworthy contributions from Thokchom Loidangton (36 off 31), Laishram Linthoingambi (29 off 24), Bidyarani (23 not out off 20) and 41 extras leaked by TCMDC bowlers.
PTRC then defended their total by restricting TCMDC to 100/5 despite Thoudam Ningthoisana's 49-ball 39 thanks to a frugal bowling attack led by Mangsatabam Chingkheileima (2/11 in 4 overs) .
Earlier, Ningthoisana (2/28) and Yensembam Nikita (2/39) shared four wickets for TCMDC.
RK Linthoi who led the PTRC batting charge was adjudged player of the match.
Elsewhere at Kongba Dhobi Lampak, THAU crushed PCC, Mayaikoibi by 10 wickets for the second group stage straight victory.
PCC opted to bat first but managed 59/7 as they faced stiff opposition from Naoroibam Sophiya (2/15) and Kongjengbam Nonibala (2/6) before Keisham Kalpana 25 off 21 balls and Thokchom Ronibala 24 off 26 balls produced an unbeaten first wicket partnership to take THAU to winning 62 in 7.3 overs.
Keisham Kalpana who had her hand in dismissing two PCC batters and added an unbeaten 25 off 21 balls was adjudged player of the match.
