MSBA lauds Yangba and Yaiphaba on securing back to back U-13 boys doubles titles

Imphal, August 26 2025: The Manipur State Badminton Association has expressed pride over the achievement of U-13 duo of Thokchom Yangba and Ng Yaiphaba who sealed two titles back to back in the National Ranking Tournaments held earlier this month.

The duo secured their first sub-junior (U-13) doubles title in the National Ranking tournament held from August 2 to 7 in Mumbai before securing another title in the tournament held in Kolkata from August 9 to 14, said MSBA in a press release.

Their strong performance in the high level competition highlights State's growing talent pool, it said.

MSBA also expressed happiness over the runners up finish by Sonakshi Singha with Uttar Pradesh's Vanay Choudhary in the U-13 Girls doubles competition of the Kolkata tournament.
