35th Senior National Sepaktakraw C'ship : Manipur finish runners up in men and women's team event

Imphal, October 24 2025: Manipur men and women teams suffered team event final loss to finish runners up in the 35th Senior National Sepaktakraw Championship being hosted by Goa at Manohar Parrikar Indoor Stadium, Madgaon.

In the final staged yesterday, Manipur women's team suffered a 0-2 loss to All India Police Sports Control Board (AIPSCB) to seal the silver medal.

The first regu lost 13-15, 8-15 before the second regu went down 15-11, 9-15, 12-15 .

Earlier in the semi-final, Manipur defeated Uttar Pradesh 2-0 to make their place in the final.

Meanwhile in the men's team competition, Manipur went down 1-2 to AIPSCB.

The first regu lost 12-15, 6-15 before the second regu levelled it with a 15-12, 15-13 win.

The third regu however slumped to 17-16, 8-15, 4-15 loss.
