33rd All Manipur Shooting Competition : Naorem Khandajit takes 25 m standard pistol championship gold

Imphal, August 22 2025: Naorem Khandajit of Imphal West District Rifle Association clinched toe 25 m standardpistol championship title for senior men in the ongoing 33rd All Manipur Shooting Competition at Taothong shooting range of Manipur Rifle Association.

Naorem Khandajit shot 270 points to seal the gold medal as Manipur Rifle Association's Huidrom John and Amakcham Yohenba followed closely on 269 and 268 points to secure toe silver and bronze medals.

Pangambam Kunjabihari of Imphal East District Rifle Association meanwhile won the gold medal in the 25 m standard pistol championship for masters men.

Pangambam Kunjabihari shot best 264 points to finish atop as Kangjam Prem of Manipur Police Sports Club (MPSC) sealed the second spot with 260 points and Laiphrakpam Rajesh of Imphal West District Rifle Association shot 258 points to finish third.

Amakcham Yohenba of Manipur Rifle Association meanwhile clinched the junior championship title amassing 268 points while Ashem Jupiter of Jupiter Shooting Range of Imphal Public School sealed the second spot with 267 points and Leihaothabam Rishiraj of the Blossom School Indoor Shooting Centre finished third on 237 points.
