YDO emerge team champions of Imphal East Fencing C'ship

Imphal, July 20 2025: YDO (Ucheckon Moriba) triumphed as the overall team champions at the 3rd Imphal East District Level Fencing Championship 2025, which wrapped up on Sunday.

The team dominated the competition with an impressive medal tally, securing their victory with a total of 88 points.

YDO's stellar performance saw them claim 12 gold, 6 silver, and 10 bronze medals, showcasing their consistency and skill across various events.

Their commanding lead cemented their position at the top of the standings, earning them the coveted championship title.

Finishing as runners-up were KHFA (Khongman Zone 4), who put up a strong fight with 80 points.

Their campaign included 5 gold, 15 silver, and 10 bronze medals, demonstrating remarkable depth in their squad despite narrowly missing the top spot.

Meanwhile, Poloi Chingarel Tejpur secured third place with 44 points, thanks to their haul of 7 gold, 2 silver, and 3 bronze medals.
