Manipur conclude 34th Senior Wushu Nationals with 14 medals

Imphal, June 19 2025:
Manipur capped the 34th Senior Wushu Championship that came to a close today at Poomima University, Jaipur with a haul of 14 medals including 2 gold, 4 silver and 8 bronze.
In the championship that began on June 14 , W Bhumeshwor clinched a gold medal in the Taijijian event as Naorem Olica bagged the old gold medal in the Taijiquan event.
The silver medallists in the meantime include Okram lyathoi who finished second in the Nanquan event, Kangjam Monish in the Taijiquan event, Nongthombam Velentina in the Nandao event and Angom William in the Taijiquan type event.
W Bhumeshwor also bagged a bronze medal in the men's Taijiquan event as Konsam Jona Princie bagged two bronze medals, one apiece in the Taijiquan and Taijijian events.
Tongbram Saya also won two bronze medals, one each in Chanquan and Daoshu events as Ningthoujam Malemnganba won a bronze medal in daoshu event.
Naorem Wattaba meanwhile won a bronze medal in the Non Type event as Hemam Robinson settled for another bronze medal in the Sanda competition (56 kg) of the championship.
