Imphal, August 17 2025: The Manipur Basketball Association has announced the names of the athletes who will be representing Manipur at the 75th Junior National Basketball Championship for boys to be held at Ludhiana, Punjab from September 2 to 9, 2025.The players who made it to the 12-member State squad are Achom Prince, Leishemba Laiphrakpam, Leishangthem Leishemba and Sarungbam Athouba of CYLC; Yurembam Benjamin, and Yurembam Taibanganba of Youth Club; Athokpam Samson, and Ningombam Ronald of YOSC; Irengbam Dhanaraj of LMYVA; Heisnam Rahul of Model Club; Moirangthem Suryajeet, and Phairembam Inunganba of BDBA.

The players should report to T Nilamani, head coach; Y Mahendra Kapoor, assistant head coach; N Jackson, coach; Borish Achom, coach and Ch Ketanjit, coach from August 18 at 6.30 am and 3.30 pm respectively for further training till the team leave for the venue on August 29 .
